  • First time for everything!

I'm used to potting on, but never back! The Black Cherry tomatoes were in long tom pots with that awful compost from Wickes and were just not growing. I've dug them out of those pots and there are roots, but constricted, so I have put them into smaller pots with better compost. I'm hoping I don't lose the lot.

Funny you should bring that up...i am having the same problem with the B&Q verve compost it just will not hold any moisture and seems very compacted and toms are just not growing...was toying with idea of putting them into different compost may have to give it a go.....oh and the compost when first taken from the bag did actually STINK!!!

How strange Yekim - I've changed for the first time in years from Wickes to B & Q Verve and it's lovely stuff. Complain, I would.
