  • Seaweed

Hi fellow gardners,i'm after some pointers about seaweed tea,
I've got a bin full of seaweed and water which is now brown, frothy and stinking like you wouldnt believe. It's been "maturing" for 2 weeks.

What do I do now,can I put it on all of my veg/toms,do I use it diluted instead of water?
How often is good, can I do any harm?

Is it worth it. Because my nose is having other ideas already!

    Thanks in advance

Seaweed tea is well worth it, and well worth the pong. I dilute it about 8 to 1and apply it to the soil around the plants although it can also be used as a foliar feed. Once a week is a reasonable feeding regime and it's particularly good for things that like a lot of potash such as tomatoes and beans.

If it didn't work there wouldn't be products like Maxicrop on the market.

I have a batch that is almost ready. Do you reckon you could rely on seaweed tea alone for feeding toms and peppers? Thanks
