    Glorious Weekend Ahead

    I thought I would just comment.

    Having tried to persuade the OH that it would be a good idea to go away camping this weekend, she said she thought seeing as it was such a good weekend forecast I should spend the time over the allotment.

    Had I known that the fear of camping would give me free reign of the allotment before, I'd have got a trailer tent years ago.
    I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

    Why not have the best of both worlds. Spend the weekend at the allotment in your tent

            That's what I meant about selflessness, she wouldn't want you to see her suffer in silence on a camp site, so she would rather you do something you really enjoy while the forecast is good.
