  • OMG the Sun is Shining!

The sun has come out, it is 15 degrees.

The blackbirds are swooping back and forth to their nest (not sure if building or feeding young).

It is drying up, All is right with the world!!!

Saw it briefly - less than a minute, had stopped raining but blowy so put sheets on the line. Sat down for lunch and the heavens opened. Now lashing with rain and sheets in the tumble dryer in desperation. Fingers crossed for weekend as eldest boy doing 60k sponsored walk.

Had a bit of the shiny stuff earlier on, but it felt muggy if you know what I mean. Managed to get to the lottie with grandson to pick some more PSB and some asparagus, and as soon as we got back home it started bladdy raining again.

We had drizzle (again) this morning, then warm sun (19c) briefly at lunchtime, so I got all hot & sweaty racing back to school for the afternoon session: then it swiftly dropped to 14c again with heavy rain (again).

Yesterday we had a change from the rain & drizzle ~ we got fog

I'm back on the Vit D tabs again, because I realised my S.A.D has come back (it wasn't month-long PMT after all)

It's been threatening here since before 6 and although it's still gloomy there's been no rain. Yet.

I'm in Kings Langley, just north of Watford. No idea where Henlow is (although I used to live in Leighton Buzzard).

Been in the garden all day today too....

Hope you got some of the weather!
