  • Ebay bargains

I'm sure I saw it on the Grapevine some time ago (where else would I be mooching!!). It was a web address for those ebay items that got posted in the wrong place or were for collection only because they were too big. You could put in your area and it would find bargains within a certain distance.
I had it saved in my favourites but when the computer came back from repair I couldn't find it again.
I have tried to find it on Ebay but it doesn't give me the page I had before.
Anyone know what I'm talking about please?

We've found that distance isn't always accurate but its still a handy search to have.

A lot of things that search distance by postcode they seem to be actually searching by the 'main' code, so if you are on (as an example) SP10 3PP (no idea if that exists) the distance may be from SP1...., in our case that can mean a difference of up to 10 miles.

Limiting distance is hopeless for me as it doesn't take account of the Bristol Channel getting in the way! Thanks for the links.

You should try the devide of "The Irish Sea" Veggiechicken.

You would think that they could work out distances by road miles rather than crow miles (or fish miles in our cases)!
