  • Turf question

I've dug up a fair amount of turf to lay a patio.
I know all about turning it upside down and leaving it to break down, However......

I am also extending a large area of raised bed. Could i leave the turf upside down and bury it in 6 inches of soil? Or will the grass grow through?
    thanks

Yes you can - use that for the potatoes and by the time you dig them out, it should be nice and crumbly.

That's what I did in my front garden, and in the raised beds.
