  • Reaching for the sun cream...

What a fantastic day! Spent most of it in the garden, rolled up the jeans and took off the socks.

At lunch time had to reach for the sun cream as my nose and cheeks look a tad, err, red!

The hour spent in a sun lounger (yes, lounging in the sun - how decedent!) did wonders for the burgeoning sun burn.
If the river hasn't reached the top of your step, DON'T PANIC!

Yes tea shirt and flip-flops here - in the greenhouse it was 37 or 42C depending on which thermometer you believe

At least you reached for it, I just didn't think, look like a beetroot now
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

As usual here at this time of year, after a day of sun the sea fog came rolling in

That'll be the fastest you ever grew a beetroot!
