  • My new project - chair refurb

    As I cant get down to the allotment this weekend, Ive been working on this:

    Brilliant! I have had a go at covering chairs in the past, nothing "serious" I've just had a go for fun but I really enjoy it and find it very therapeutic

                ah ta! I just found some old scrappy wood planks they were selling at the merchants for 50p each so i picked them up and made the gate - id much rather make or refurb something rather than spend a fortune on buying it new xx

                  It looks a bit posh for down the allotment! You will have to fix plates to the leg bottoms or it will sink into the ground! I hope you used the stinky fish glue I remember from my woodworking classes at school? Cheers, Tony.

                    i did use that glue tony, its smells rank an' all!!! Dont worry its not for the allotment its for my hallway and my old bureau/desk xx
