  • Horrible Landlord

Not mine I haten to add but the person who owns the one upstairs.

I noticed that he was pouring water out of the window all over my garden, I asked him what he was doing and he said washing the windows. I commented that it may have been polite to ask me first rather than just start chucking water about. I ased him about the previous tennants as we have has a lot of trouble with them and I had to call the council.
He retorted that he was moving some ( I just can't say the word here but you will know what I mean ) Pakistani people in instead .. He said it like " I'm moving a load of P*** in next week.
I said that didn't mind who moved in as long as they were quiet - if not I would have to contact the council again. I also said that I was sure his tennants wouldn't be impressed with him referring to them in that way.

What a horrible man - he really upset me with his attitude and rudeness. I was so upset that I ended up on the phone to my husband who has just gone and tackled him in the street .

Now I'm really upset and I don't know how to snap out of it.

He has bugged you big time eh?

Maybe you are easily affected by peoples bad attitudes? Either way, give yourself half an hour to cry/shout/mope around then simply take a massive deep breath & find something nice to do.

It's good to make the time to feel sorry for yourself but even better giving yourself permission to snap out of it on your own terms.

Life expectancy would grow by leaps and bounds if green vegetables smelled as good as bacon.

Erm, like most people, offensive language and rude behaviour p*ss me off at any time of the month!

Piggle, I hope you feel less upset soon. Well done for being firm with him, I'm sure it would have been much easier to walk away and say nothing.
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Thanks all - my husband came home and tackled him about it and apparantly he was very apologetic . More like he hasn't got the courage to stand up to men only to pick on women. I think I would have to imagine him with a pickled cabbage as a head as apparantly he stank of booze ( it was 3pm!).

He apologised and said he was only joking and that he would never move foreigners into his property ... erm missing the point much. I don't care if martians move in!

My husband suggested that we all start from a clean slate which he agreed to and he claimed that he didn't know any of the trouble that the previous tennants had caused us ( worrying for a landlord ) and that a "nice" couple are moving in.

For now I am giving him the benefit of the doubt .

              I hate people like that!
I love living in multicultural Britain, look at all the lovely food and growing veg they brought with them.

I know a lot of people on the Vine couldn't function without a curry!

I know I was shocked that someone would use that in the sense that .. if you think the last lot were bad just wait till........... the fact that he thought that it was the threat of foreign neighbours was what upset me rather than him being an pillock.

I am still seething but I am trying to be mindful ..... I need one of those bells that you ring.
