I've just posted a link at the bottom of the article to the thread on Allotment Advice where several people have posted info about fighting these massive hikes in rent. I hope it helps them - it really isn't fair for allotment holders to pay disproportionately for council cuts. Particularly when they don't appear to receive any services whatsoever from the council. -

I feel sorry for these guys, that sounds absurd. I don't pay close to what I use, my annual rent is 3p a square metre, £10. I use more than that in water alone.I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.Comment
