  • Whilst I've been on the computer...

...Celebrity Big Brother has sneaked on the tellybox. I looked up to what I can only describe as a Barbie Convention with poor Natalie Cassidy in the middle. I can report that she (Natalie) has been given bizarre tasks to say and do things to the other new housemates and she is a very good actress!

I don't think I'll wait around to see the mental meltdown that she has in there surrounded by that lot...

Now, where have I put the remote???

Why couldn't they let Celebrity Big Brother just die?

    Its a waste of time!

I absolutely agree. I don't watch any soaps either. Total pap. My OH says they are the opium of the masses.

I'd need opium to sit and watch them.

Can you define the word celebrity?
I may have heard of two or three of them before

I watched about 5 minutes of this program some years ago and then found my favourite TV control.

            THE OFF SWITCH.

Very good point, Poolcue! I recognised Cassidy, but wouldn't have known her name without them saying it, likewise Frankie wotsisname from Shitefactor.

The others I'm guessing are models are summat. Anyway, I had a happy afternoon cleaning the house and then the yard. Better than rotting the brain (although I do have an opium derivative painkiller if required...).

Ha Ha!I googled that song, by a band called Disposable Heroes Of Hiphoprisy (whatever that means). Very political.

I'll sort out me poppy seeds!

                    TV is very selective here.
OH is currently watching "Sherlock". Putting the stories into the current era I could live with, adding in the modern obsession with psychological hang-ups is just too much for me, so I headed for the computer.

Same here, Hilary. Unfortunately, I've sat through it all before - first time round - I really wish my 'beloved' would lose his obsession for repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat TV viewing. It drives me potty.
