...you go to get a sneaky chocolate out of the tin, which you have bought for Christmas and it has only eighteen left in there

Urgh! A friend of mine once told me she had to get off the phone as her child was pooping on the stairs and was fingerpainting with it...wet seems OK in comparison.

I do and it's a good job it's unconditional sometimes
I know my daughter has been scouring my Christmas present hiding place this year as she has put the newly purchased Tintin DVDs back the wrong way. If you're going to be sneaky, you need to learn to leave no traces

              Got another one.

Teaching them to clean their teeth... for some reason said toothbrush gets inserted into where the sun doesn't shine. Thinking this is funny, as we freak out she then tries to brush her teeth.

Brushing time is heavily monitored now

...the police turn up at your door before you leave for work because a two and four year old could only use the 9 button on a lockable key pad
All they could hear were children on the line.

One November, about 14 years ago, we bought 2 tins of Roses. This was when they weighed 2.2kg and were worth buying. Come Christmas time, I decided to fish them out of their hiding place in the far reaches of the wardrobe. Expecting to find them heavy to lift, I braced myself - and then went flying backwards because neither tin weighed anything!!

A certain daughter, who shall remain nameless, had scoffed nearly all them, leaving only the brazil nut toffees. A quick search revealed all of the wrappers hidden in her room. Greedy wee madam!

Coffee. Garden. Coffee. Does a good morning need anything else?

Roses here...maybe the trick is to buy dark chocolate.
