  • I feel so very sad :(

It's nothing real as such but I had some truly horrid dreams (nightmares!) and I woke almost crying

A lot of it is still a muddle thankfully, but what I can remember is just horrid and I have no idea where the heck my mind would find such horror I'm in two minds as to even write it down here for fear that it may stick in someone's mind and make them feel sad and upset too.

I get these sort of 'worry/dread/fear' dreams - they are awful and I wake crying....
The feeling of fear or sadness often stays with me all day.
Why does this happen? I wish it wouldn't- life can be hard enough anyway.

I do hope your nasty dreams go away Piskie and you have nice restful nights

Virtual hugs. Did you eat cheese late last night? Soothe yourself with something positive, shower, bath, milky drink or a new mag.
I hate those bad dreams. I am having a glass of something exceedingly potent at night and have been comatose as soon as I am horizontal. It's helping.

I feel sorry for you, but recently, my dreams have been fantastic!

In the past few weeks, I've had a punch-up with an alien trying to destroy my pub, joined the NASA Space Program and successfully launched into Space to become the first man to walk on Mars and ran the 100m outstripping Usain Bolt by such a margin he cried.

Honestly, you'd think I'd never grown up at all..

I love that show! I feel like that mother at times. The little girl, Ramona I think, is hilarious. I like it when she answers the door to people she doesn't know - they don't stick around long

I had a bad dream last night as well; strange you say that!

I had gone back to uni [yay] moved into digs right above the classroom [boo], gone out on a long long busride that went wrong [boo boo] got back and the bin was on fire [boooooo] and they told me the rest of the building was being sold off so there would just be a few people left in the digs [boooooo] and Piglet Willie was moving into the next room next term [and the note said 'you may know him']. All very odd.

                Then the alarm went off.

Must have been something in the atmosphere causing 'em, 'cos I had one too - and I very rarely dream.
This could be considered a nightmare as was contacted by a magazine who wanted to do a photo-shoot featuring me! Arrived at shoot to be told that I would be joined in the photos by Fern Britten as they wanted to make her look "extra thin" !!!!!!!! And to cap it all when she turned up it was obviously "Pre-Gastric Band"!!
                  My brain HATES me!!

Pisk, try not to dwell on it. It WAS just a dream - be grateful for that. Best thing to do is treat yourself to something nice or have a look at a few funny animal videos on YouTube. Always cheers me up! ("Guilty Dogs" is particularly good!). Big hug X

Aww- hugs to you gal xx

Yup- we all get them- I had loads of unpleasant dreams when I first came out here!
Insecurity must have caused my stressy dreams.
Tis weird how our brains can come up with weird stuff like that- but thank goodness they're just dreams

Perhaps you should write them all down Piskie- then sell film rights to them!!!!

Don't write it down, that will just give credence to something that just came out of your imagination and isn't at all real even although it may feel like it. Have a chocolate moment instead

I actually dreamt last night that a young blond wench was flirting with me, kissed me and then ran away. Can't mention that to better half as I'm not allowed to have dreams like that about anyone but her. It's never going to happen or if it does she's gonna get locked up in the nuthouse. In the meantime, I'm going to try to rekindle the dream tonight
