  • We won an award!

The link is to the article about Iwade Allotments, who only started up in April, winning second place in the Environmental catagory of the Kent Village of the Year Awards. The picture was taken on Sunday, me, Kissykit and SonNo2 are in the background. My plot has the blue/green shed, just visible in the top right hard corner
Our youngest 'allotmenteer' is about 5 weeks old now, although he has been coming up to his parents plots ever since we opened.

I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

Very impressive - after such as short time and in what has been quite a challenging gardening year.
