  • Oh those halcyon days

    Remember these?

I just bought one, although the one we had when kids was nowhere near as swishy as this one

I'm told it makes lovely pseudo champagne - yum

I have been toying with getting a soda stream for a bit.... we drink quite a bit of fizzy pop, so I'm wondering whether it would make sense to get one, especially since they got loads of new flavours!

I'm loving just water with bubbles at the moment - but yep, the cream soda is on my list

Cream soda & ginger beer were the best flavours, but they never retained fizz like commercial bottled stuff does

We had a "pop man" Newton, my how those lads could run rattling their bottles. We also had a soda stream that was a present from my mum, but I think the boys broke it. That's very swish Piskie.

We had the Corona lemonade guy. In the hols, we spent ages collecting empty bottles to get back the deposit on them to buy sweets. Let's get Fizzycal.........

I had a Soda Stream in the nineties, but the concentrates weren't cheap then, and we always used far too much. The older two children were once caught pouring cherryade concentrate over their icecream!

We had the pop man too. I think he had a red lorry and we kids would rush out trying to decide what to have. Dandelion and burdock is still one of my favourites.

We had a sodastream but to be honest it was more fun to use than to drink the product, nothing ever really tasted very nice - it's probably why I drink mainly water these days

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
