River Cottage is back on the telly next Sunday, 16th October with a new series. No details yet, more next week apparently, but the newsletter says Hugh undertakes a Summer-long veggie challenge. I know not all of you like Hugh Furry Wotsits, but for those of us who do it's something to look forward to.

When "I met him" lol, he was talking about the veg challenge, he basically went veggie for months (cant remember how many, 8?) and wrote the recipe book and was filmed doing it! being veggie, not writing the book lol!

All to do with the rising cost of meat and the fact that 50% percent of all our veg grown goes to feed our meat!!

    Cant wait, thanks xx

Oh and the chickens are taking over my garden!

They were still filming last week when we were down there, first there was a right commotion in the canteen in Axminster then we did a course at the farm the next day and something was going on there too. Couldn't see what though but one of the guys we were talking to was saying that they'd been filming mushroom hunting in the New Forest earier in the week and as we'd been there too we had a chat about the number of hedgehog mushrooms that we'd all seen - tonnes of them and they're lovely. Apparently John the mushroom man said on camera when they found theirs that he's only met one person who had a reaction to them and that was to increase the size of her breasts so will have so see if that made the final cut

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
