    My toms are growing so exciting!

    My first attempt in this gyo this year is going so well.

    I have 9 tom plants and finally they have fruit on them - so satisfying to see!
    i had 8 yesterday and now have 11 today!

    It makes everything worthwhile.

    I have runnerbeans starting to grown on 2 types of my runners. Celery, cabbage, broccolli, cauliflower, onions, leeks, chard, beetroot, carrots and brussells are all growing well and lush. Peppers and aubergene and chills are doing ok

    I have harvested peas, lettuce, chard and spinnach so far and are so tasty.

    so to go on but this is my first attempt at growing!

        I too am enjoying my first year on the lottie. I'm loving every minute. Except the weeds.....they scare me because I don't know what to do .....

        I'm going to try that courgette pickle!

        Loving my allotment!

            Weeds cease to be scarey once you cut their heads off . Keep the hoe going even if there are no weeds in sight, and those that can't be reached with the hoe, just pull them out. Once the weeds are under control, it amazing how easy gardening becomes.

                    Good for you Briggsy, we're both in the same boat, first time gardeners, but I just wish mine would get a move on, I've got plenty plants all growing and flowering well, but so far, the only plant fruiting is my microtom

                      i have now 15 toms growing - yes i do go out every evening and count them!

                      Tattie mine have taken ages to start growing so fingers crossed yours will to!

                        Great news, my Tomato plants have finally decided to sprout some fruit, the Moneymaker and Plum started them off, and the rest have decided to join them, at long last, I thought I was just growing another flowering plant

                          I have 74 toms growing now. I find myself cou ting them every other day and getting the family to guess how many i have. Sad I know, the family join in to keep me happy lol.

                            Good for you briggsy, I thought I was growing flower plants, but in the greenhouse, well, now I'm much like you, every day, there's new fruit starting, and the wife gets just as big a kick of finding new tomato's as well
