Does anyone let their flower bulbs make seed heads, if so how do you turn them into viable bulbs?

You can "scale" bulbs, but it takes a few years

      seed sowing takes longer still

If you dig them up some varieties will naturally split and make new bulbs (thats why the flowering isn't so good sometimes - they are young non flowering size bulbs)
