  • J T F discount store.

I do hope I am not breaking ant rules here but if so could a mod please remove this post.

JTF were a trade only discount store but they are obviously feeling the pinch as now they state membership is free, everyones welcome.

Based mainly in the central part of England they do reach Newcastle in the north and Peterborough in the south.

Their gardening stock has just arrived and by the looks of it some of the stuff is well priced. For example 3 tier blow away £9-99. Spare covers from £3-99. 100ltr water butt £16-99. 1.5mtr x 5mtr fleece £1.49.

Prices are plus vat. They do sell some tat but it is still worth a look. Just google JTFstores.co.uk for branch details and downloadable brochure

There's one in Leeds and like Colin says quite a bit of tat but some good bargains if you look, dont forget the VAT though when you're chucking stuff in your trolley, when you get to the till it can add quite a bit

I went once - it was full of tat and once the vat was added on I didn't find it all that cheap.

I use it every year for my compost and pots. It went through a really bad period about a year ago, and I swore I would never go back, but I did last month, and its certainly got better. If your looking for real bargains stick to the items on the flyer they post to you when you joinn

Oh I have been to the south many many times. But if your read the post carefully you will see it infers that the Peteborough is the most southerly branch. Which if you know anything about the midlands or the north of England it most surely is.

Yes Shady it used to be like that and there still is some tat. I went today and thing have much improved on even last year with regards to the amount of gardening stock they hold, example 8 pkts brand name seed £1-20p.

Where is this barren, frozen, wasteland, they call the north?
                    Must be by London somewhere.
