  • What do you want for Xmas?

Mrs BM has asked me what do I want for Xmas. I don't think it's a case of what I want, more a case of what I need & the answer as like every other year is "nothing". It's driving her crazy. Are you the same or is there something you always need. I need some inspiration..........

I want a big roll of weed control fabric, and a delivery of wood chip to get my fruit area sorted out. Probably won't get it though

Mr TS buys everything he wants himself: he can't wait till Xmas. What we do is buy our own gift, then the other wraps it up (well OK, I wrap them both up).

I also make him up a hamper of his favourite treats that he's not normally 'allowed' (macadamia nuts, crisps, chocky, Pot Noodles etc)

My family say I'm a nightmare to buy for as well. I don't feel the need for possessions ie jewellry, gadgets etc as such. I would like to go up the lottie and see my GH had been put up but that ain't gonna happen , I would like to get up and find the fairies had blitzed the house but that ain't gonna happen either , so I'm guessing it'll be slippers and a new insert for my diary ...............

Um, we always get something for the house for Christmas; this year it was doing the bathroom floor in proper nice mosaics; a new toaster and a fantastic new coffee machine.

We're adults - and earning a wage. So if we want something we either buy it or save up for it......I don't see the point of getting people things just for the sake of it.

I want more hydroponics kits but will wait until I find any sales on. Mr Frosty wants a tanglewood guitar but will wait for any sales. We need a new sofa but you guessed we will be waiting for the sales. So no pressies to open on Christmas except from my Secret Santa. We have bought The 4400 DVD set cause Christmas TV is usually pants.

For Christmas/my birthday (early Jan) I want an incubator and a new shed....

Our Christmas and birthday money, plus the money we make by selling the turkeys should sort this out!

I have asked Mr OWG for new PJ's, nice new welly socks and a new woolly hat. In fact, I've even told him specifically which shop to buy these items from!

I really need some more good quality gardening gloves - I have some now, cost around a tenner when I bought them 5 years ago, they've been invaluable, but alas I managed to get a particularly nasty thorn stuck in the leathery bit and they ripped.
Told my OH but know what'll end up with is some cheapy ones from the 99p shop or similar...
I would also like some more blueberry bushes and some new clothes, (a gift voucher will do) but I am thinking pigs are likely to fly before I get that lot .Usually I get an approximation of what I ask for, or something completely pointless etc

                            Am I being ungrateful??

My elder kids usually get me something from my Amazon wish list, although my son is especially good at finding me something nice....

Last year my fours sons and daughter clubbed together and gave me a £50 hair voucher and a £50 M & S voucher very much needed in both cases.
