I have had a lovely display this year and though I might try growing from the odd pod which has appeared.
I have picked these and shelled them and I have (guess what?) little peas inside them.
any suggestions re best way to dry/keep these over the winter?
also - earlier post re toilet roll holder vs pots. I planted mine last year in the tall nectarine punnets from the supermarkets (check them out - they are generally much deeper than other punnets) which allows the roots to grow. Plus really spooky to watch (from the outside) the seeds sprouting and the root developing - I showed one of my 5yr old chums and he thought it was absolutely fantastic.
