    Different coloured flowers on a buzy lizzie?!!

    One of my buzy lizzies has both red and white flowers on it. They were
    grown from wee plug plants so at first I thought there were two plants
    present.

    Well, I have tried to tease it apart and it seems that there is indeed only
    one plant. The white flowers are growing on different stems to the
    red ones.

    Is this possible??

    I've always assumed the same as you, Shushkin, that you have two plants there planted up close together. Mixed plug plants often come out that way.
    Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

      It is possible that it's two separate plants that have "fused" together. If the stems were really close together when they were tiny they may have sort of rubbed against each other and then joined up.

        mine have done that too !
        they were the free ones I got with my thompson and morgan order ages ago. I presumed I had 2 plants in the little plug.
