  • Tendrils on a courgette?

    Some of my courgette plants are sprouting tendrils - like my cucumbers - does this mean they'll be trailing along the ground rather than grow bushy? Could they be trained up a trellis?

    yes, up a trellis would work. Mine grew up the cabbage netting last year

        I wish i knew! I bought them (seeds) at a market and they were simply labelled as courgette. I was told, however, that they were suitable for patio container growing. I suspect there are several varieties, as some have large rather rounded leaves with tendrils, whilst others i've sown have smaller leaves that are darker green with a more pointed polygonal leaf shape and also lack tendrils. Hmm...
