  • Tree Peony

My neighbour has given me some seeds from her plant and has asked me to sow them for her and keep some for myself.

Anyone any ideas how ? Is it worth it ?

All I know is that its yellow ! But she insists that its a rare one.

    Hi Liza,

The first year they grow roots, the second they put on some growth and if you are very lucky you may get flowers in the third.

Bung them in a pot and forget them.

If it's 'Molly the Witch' it is very sought after and special (although should be propagated from cuttings not seeds - but you might come up with something interesting!)
The bad news is that it can take 5 years from seed to flower!
