My small amount of container grown Broadbeans have now been exhausted leaving me with several troughs of used compost, will this compost sustain further growing during summer as I have several corgettes and cherry toms ready to plant out?
Courgettes are quite heavy feeders so I would also try to add some organic matter like home-made compost or manure to lock in the nutrients and moisture.
