  • I.D. please.

One of my bestest neighbours (the one who gave me the dovecote) asked me for an i.d. on this. I didn't know but I thought someone on here might.

Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

There is something about the plant that reminds me of a snowberry, Sarraceniac but the flowers look wrong - can you get a better picture of those (I'm assuming that's what is on the left hand branch)?
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Will try to get you a close up Jeanied. They are still buds as far as I can see but I will get one tomorrow and then, if still no I.D., will get one when they open.

Just editing to say that you could be heading in the right direction because Shiela says she thought it might ber some sort of Honeysuckle. Wikipedia tells me the snowberry is of that family.

If it is a honeysuckle then it will be one of the bush honeysuckles - lonicera maackii(?) - you'll know as soon as the flowers open.

Looks like a Common Snow Berry plant (See photo's below).

It is a symphoricarpos (common snowberry) They love shady areas and are quite drought tolerant. Be careful if planting in the garden - they spread like wildfire

Seek not to know all the answers, just to understand the questions.

Thanks all. Based on info given here we have traced it. Common snowberry it is.
