  • Trailing Varieties - Recommendations?

Every year I'm tempted to try one of the 'new' trailing/hanging basket varieties of various things. This year, it's carnations and pansies.

I tried the hanging basket sweet pea twice, and another that escapes me, and they were rubbish.

Has anyone tried anything similar that they can recommend? I love planting up my hanging baskets, and do like trying new things, but getting less and less convinced by these 'first time ever' new varieties.

    hi
have you tried busy lizzie waterfall? they give a lovely display. i had sweetpea hanging basket plants last year and found they did really well, however the best baskets were the ones i put only 3 plants in, the ones with more didn't do as well. i will be sticking to busy lizzies and surfinas this year with a few fuschias thrown in for good measure!
