  • I'm considering a tree lily

From thompson and morgan, they are currently 9.99 for 3 bulbs

I really like the idea of them to go in a fairly shaded spot in the garden.
my front garden doesn't get much sun durring the winter as it is north facing, (think thats right?).

does anyone have one and do they grow as big as they say and is their fragrence strong?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Jemma,
I haven't tried them but I'm not sure they'd do very well in the shade, they need some sun & the sun brings out the fragrance in normal lilies so I assume they'd be the same. I think the photos are a bit misleading also, I've heard people say they grow to about 3 or 4ft tall in the first year but not 8ft , T&M do say it takes a few years for them to reach their ultimate height though.
Into every life a little rain must fall.
