No ideal section - so think this is best - Indoor Plant - Lucky Bamboo

Bought some lucky bamboo from IKEA few years back, and its growing still, but just straight, nothing exciting, and looking up on things, it looks like you can do interesting things with it, braiding it, etc, Does anyone know how to cut the LB from the bigger stalk to start growing smaller ones, which I can then braid, or do other things with?
Any advice on this would be good, or anything you can do with lucky bamboo, or how to cut LB and grow it, germinate it, propagate it, etc!!!

I just cut the top off mine- and got more side shoots.
My curly ones were already shaped like that.
Easy plants to look after aren't they???
