  • Which way is up?

Anemones - which way is up and which is planting end?

Is it the flat end (as I suspect) that you plant downways or the pointy end as you would usually suspect?

everything I have read so far doesn't give any clue as to which was is up, just that you should soak them overnight.

I've tried these before with no success, I even tried side planting.

I just chuck them in, if they are upside down, they still seem to come up

I put mine in flat side down.
Some of them squiffed sideways as I covered them over, and they all came up ok.

Mine always come up OK, just chucked in the ground. Mind you, all the blue ones have come up red (ruddy Poundshop)

              I know the answer........

If its not too late... soak them for 24 hours, then its flat side down...the one on the right is correct...

However... dont panic if they are already in. They will manage as Mother Nature generally does.
