  • Sweet peas setting seed

Although I've been picking them regular my sweet peas are beginning to set seed. Do I cut these off to ensure flowers keep going or do I let some of them go to seed so I have some for next year. I want to keep them going as long as poss!

Cut them off until you are at the last few flowers then let those ones seed. You are not cutting the flowers often enough if you have seed pods forming

I also have a few pods cos I know I have not been picking enough, I picked two big bunches today and could easily have picked another three. I try and pick every couple of days.

Today I decided to cut lots of flowers, whilst doing this I also cut away all the seed pods that were forming as I dont want them yet. You could say my sweetpeas have had a haircut lol.
