  • Gailardia

    Hi All,
I have a Gailarida since last 3 years. I think I pruned it rather harshly last autumn. Now I can see new shoots but they r not growing very fast, I mean they have been new shoots since last 2 months. I am worried if these are signs that my plant is going to die
It gets full sunlight and I ocassionally water it leaving after the soil is dry for some time. Any tips on what I can do to get my plant going. Also I have read they dont like to be fertilized so haven't added any this year. Please help!
    cheers Reks

I've found Gailardia quite difficult in my heavy clay and I think it is pretty tender, prefering warmer conditions than are usually experienced here so mine are also tardy.

I am looking forward to some growing tips on this thread.
