They are really finicky about temperature: harden off properly and plant out in June if I were you

Mine grow up my bean canes all by themselves, I don't need to tie them in.

Mine have been outside hardening off for a few weeks. I suppose as long as yours have too, if not gradually aclimatise them.

are they small enough to cloche with an old squash bottle if it gets chilly?

Mine are in unheated mini greenhouse, not got many as i had an accident with seed, soaked them as packet said then forgot about them for 2 weeks oops, have about 10 seedlings so considering i destroyed them i cant complain.
