Has anyone seen a yellow buddliah tree/bush? I am supposd to have purchased one off e-bay, its only small at the minute so not sure if it will turn out to be yellow as i've never come across one before.

Yes, I bought one for my friend's birthday a couple of years ago, also off eBay! It's lovely, the flowers are like yellow balls, really bright and a bit different

Orange ball buddleia (buddleja globosa) is a great shrub for attracting bees, unlike other buddleias though it does not like hard pruning in spring. I have one near my pond.Comment

Any good garden centre should stock them or best try Jackson's Nurserys £5 a plant in a 3 litre pot seems good value to me.
Buy Buddleja Globosa (Butterfly Bush (Buddleia)) in the UK

Yes, it's Buddliea Globosa. I had one in my last garden and very lovely it was but a total magnet for black fly. You'll know when to prune it - when it's black.

Interesting - I have never had blackfly on mine in the 12 years I have had it. Maybe because it is near the pond and the dragonflies eat them?Comment

there is also a yellow Buddleja called " Buddleja x weyriana ( sungold)), this is a cross between a davidii and a globosa, and is particularly beautiful...Comment
