  • multi-purpose compost for house plants?

I was wondering if I can use multi-purpose compst for my houseplants? I've run out of house plant compost.

Why not?Unless you have some "special" plants. You can add some sharp sand for better drainage.

Thanks, I don't think it has special needs, it's a 'dragon tree' that is desperate for re-potting.

              I normally use 'houseplant' compost.

Well that is different. I buy a special compost from the garden centre for my insectivorous plants. It comes in small clear plastic bags and is quite expensive. Can't recall it's name though.

I am going to pot it with 'normal' compost. I don't like the plant anyway... heehee
