    I need your help

    I have discovered an endangered species, and I desperately need your help to ensure this bird stays with us.

    Piskie is having awful trouble staying logged on to the Vine and has asked if there's anyone out there can help. She doesn't want (and neither do i or a lot of you I'm sure) to leave the vine, but having taken her 30 minutes to reply to a couple of posts and PM's she's really struggling.

    So, my plea is to any of the administrators/mods/techy minded people to see if they can help.

    Please, do what you can - every little helps.

    Thank you for your attention.

    Sorry HW I'm thick as mince but hope her problems get sorted. Although she clearly doesnt understand "Man Flu" she is good value on the vine.

          Oh my god..my days here without Piskie - unthinkable. I'd have to get a proper job.

          What's that new computer done to her?

          Can she get the old one back up and running?

          Please - please - someone help. Where's Bride - she's Techie genius???

          P.S....i'm not joking - this is serious.

          P.P.S....has she tried downloading a different browser?

              I can't understand why only the Vine is giving Piskie troubles. Madmax said other than that he would recommend a re-install of Windows (or whatever)

                I,m totally useless with pincuters but I hope this gets sorted as soon as, can't be doing without a daily dose of Piskie magic.

                          i also have been having problems, i did set my security thingies at a lower level, and it's slightly better on ie ...... still c**p on firefox though..... have given up trying on that

                              I had a lot of probs on Sunday and then discovered I had downloaded Mozilla Firefox which was now my search engine instead of Internet Explorer. This affected this site and BigFishGames and all sorts of other things and they all became verrryyy ssslllooowww. Only advantage was an automatic spell checker when drafting these posts (handy!), but then it timed out before I could send them. Just in case that was the problem I deleted Firefox and everything went back to normal.

                              The only thing was I never intentionally downloaded it - don't know where it came from - must have been a random drunken press of the OK button. Beware
