  • Some good news and light!

The vine seems to have been full of doom gloom and unhappiness over the past few months with only faint glimmers of light cast in between.

In an attempt to get some love, warmth and good news to the fore, please post any POSITIVE things, news or happenings here.

No moaning whining or bad news, just the good stuff.

My good news is that my brother in law didnt get made redundant today.
Mrs piglet and myself are in the rudest of health.
My first attempt at piccallili was a success.
My first attempt at chilli-lilli wasan even better one.
And as a brucey bonus I bagged a tenner on Saturdays lottery.

I've had five days off work
Today is a notional Sunday complete with long run in the morning, real fire and Mr H's yummy Sunday roast
I'm in love with a little chook with a big personality and a bigger beak
I may hate my job and the idea of going back tomorrow, but I'm grateful to have it
A break has reminded me of all the good stuff in my (real) life, which is much more important than the inane drivel and back biting in the life I get paid to be part of

Aha - good things there are in abundance.
It's stopped widdling down for a couple of days and I've got loads of digging done.
The plasterer is coming tomorrow to pull down and re-do the ceiling in the spare room which will now be my very own sewing room.
Reading and vastly enjoying Graham Green's 'Travels with my Aunt' for the village book club - never read any of his stuff before - this one's very good.
My budgie loves me. (Mind, he's got a brain the size of a lentil - not really meaningful I suspect).
                            Still harvesting veg.
                            Got seeds to share.
Love the Vine and - I love you all!

My hubby is in the garden making it tidy and i have lots of seeds and things just starting. Happy happy happy! I might even have a nice glass of wine with supper, that makes me extra happy...
