  • Al Green

Did anyone see him on Jools Holland t'other night? Is it me, or is he not playing with a full deck? All that is, not Jools.

I've never seen Al Green live - or doing anything other than singing, but when Jools was interviewing him - well...

I didn't see it Hey Wayne, but I do like Al Green - something in the quality of the voice there does it for me.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

Eeeuuw...! I paused The Verve to listen to that! Takes me right back to car journeys with my Ma's dreadful 'Love Compilation' tapes, full of 10cc, and Neil/Barbara singing 'You Don't Bring Me Flowers Aneeeemorrrrre'
Each to there own, and all that, but I'm not sad I missed it

Tired of Being Alone is much better - I think it even featured on one of the Tarantino films...

Mr Sheds took us to see Al Green at Albert Hall last year ... disastrous. Terrible sound, (well, no sound, at the back) and I couldn't even see him, being a short arris ... we got a full refund.
