    Bonfire night

    Anyone celebrating tonight- or are you leaving it until Saturday??

    We're heading back to Cheshire tomorrow for a long weekend ( I'll miss the chooks)

    For some crazy reason I'll be entertaining 10 peeps Talk about being popular....or could it be the pile of cheap booze ( I hope not)

    Looking forward to the smell of th fireworks and glowing hot face whilst chomping on treacle toffee

            We were hoping to go to the local village one - but nothing's been advertised at all this year?!

            Big showy ones are all great, but you can't beat a bit of amateur fireworks can you?

                Well our neighbour had asked us round theirs for sparklers & the like.....but as she just said to me.."see you in the morning"...not sure we're doing anything?

                        I've got a key!...think(or rather know)her & OH had their annual row last night...keeping my eyes on their kitchen to check there's no platethrowing going on......not sure I'd want to get between a sparkler & rowing couple!!

                            Ok, I'm the only one who is going to burst the fireworks bubble...but...I HATE BONFIRE NIGHT!!!

                            I always have - the noise, the smell...I just don't get the point of any of it. I've never been one to "ohhh...and ahhh" at lights in the sky...or the big horrible noises!!

                            I'll be staying firmly behind closed doors tonight - cats, dogs, chooks and all!!

                            Hope you have a fabby night though - seeing friends is always great fun!!! You'll be desperate to get back to the chooks though, no doubt!!

                              My daughter is going to guides tonight and they are going to a bonfire do at the place where guides meet. Saturday is a big family affair as today is bil birthday we always get together and have soup and hotdogs at my niece's house. I think about 14 of us their garden is quite small and its fun, no bonfire just fireworks and sparklers.
                              Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
                              and ends with backache
