  • Banana or pigs trotter

    More Charlie stuff......
....The vet says use either to practise injecting Charlie - ooh I do love a pigs trotter, preferably without the saline that we are using!

Snowdrop did the first practice injection as I was close to fainting, he did so bloody well, I am totally blown away with pride of my hubby and he sees it as nothing! Our first real (with insullin) injection is tomorrow morning - fingers crossed for us please.

Charlie is already showing small signs of improvement although there is a long way to go.

Snowdrop did the deed this morning, again as with the practice run yesterday he was blinking superb at it - Charlie was very cool about it.

I now have a ton of bananas to practice on but I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to do it on the 'real deal' ....we'll see

                Well done Snowdrop, and Charlie
I'm sure you'll get the hang of it hun, once you've done it a few times it'll seem easy, specially if Charlie isn't bothered by it.

I did my first ever injection on a baby! Tee hee hee, poor wee thing couldn't complain! Have done millions and trillions since, it does get easier Suzie, good luck hun and just remember you're doing it for a good reason, it's perfectly necessary.
