              Yep I agree Wayne.
There's no excuse for dumping unwanted animals/pets in the UK ( or anywhere really) as there are so many animal charities to come to the rescue.

                  I agree Nicos

People shouldn't get an animal they cannot hope to look after when it grows up I personally believe that there should not be a trade in this sort of creature, just my opinion.

Aw, he looks like a nice snake! I'd love to have one, but not sure it would live alongside the cat too well and I don't like small vivariums. I come across adders quite often out riding and in the field, but that's a biggun alright!

Crikey! I've rescued two adders in the last couple of weeks, caught in my brassica netting, but they look tiny next to that! Poor thing, hope it finds a good home.
Life may not be the party we hoped for but since we're here we might as well dance

I have some plastic ones dotted around the beds an in the greenhouse to TRY and prevent the birds and mice, but think that brute might work better!

Was the chap thinking it was a log going to throw that in the river, or the snake in the river? Really irresponsible either way!!

Can you tell, I've got the grumps tonight

We used to have an 8ft boa. We had her for about 2 years. It was a lovely animal, mostly docile and well used to humans but in the end it just got too big and with young kids (at the time) we decided to rehome her, as she had phenomenal strength and we were afraid of accidents. Why himself got her in the first place was a bit of a mystery to me anyways
After much searching we found a reptile rescue who was willing to take her and her enormous viv that took up a third of our front room. She was a beautiful animal, but we'll never get another.
