not for any reason lol just cos ....... i kinda broke my toe, and so far everyone i've told has just laughed ...... what's so funny about falling downstairs kicking the wall and ending up with your foot bandaged up?? eh eh ?? OH tried to keep a straight face ....... oh yeah tried, failed miserably ....... darling son didn't answer his phone, so i sent him a text ...... what did i get back ...... flowers? cuddles? large bottle of voddy?? nope a text that was 3 pages long that basically said hahahahahahaha on all 3 texts.

Well you can have bags of sympathy from here. Did much the same a few years back and it was ******* (choose your own favourite expletive) painful.

So ignore the men and make yourself a nice cup of something comforting and consider yourself hugged from here.

    Hope it mends itself soon.

A few years ago thought I'd broken mine - Doctor said so, Nurse at A & E said so, Radiographer said so - X-Ray said no - still hurt like hell for weeks though.

      So Sympathy...

Seriously - it's not fun, it hurts and is a pain when people laugh

          Ouch
You can have bags of sympathy from me too hun. I broke mine bashing it against a chair leg on hols in April Just coz you may have done it in a daft way doesn't make it hurt any less!
The good news is that it only really hurt for a couple of days, then, as long as I kept my boots on, it was a lot more bearable.

Never broken anything (yet!) but I have the greatest sympathy for anyone who does. It's especially annoying for someone so active like yourself. Can you still hammer nails in? (worrying about your chicken house!)

Give yourself all the sympathy your blokes don't seem to be able to summon up. Limp like mad and milk it for all it's worth.

                      Take care chuck,

Ooohhh, ouch. Lots of sympathy coming from here - I broke my big toe a few years ago when out jogging, I slipped in the mud and hit a stile front on instead of jumping over it. I too was laughed at lots but I know how much it hurts ...... so here's hoping the pain subsides really soon Lynda. Take care, and make those men run around after you

it's amazing how people can laugh at others down falls,is this not how so called comedians started life, note i say comedian, not comedien, did you hurt anything else falling down the stairs, sounds nasty, you may be got other sore body parts come out today, all the best, and yes, definatly MILK it,do extra groaning, try and make um feel a bit guilty at least.

feels much better today after being strapped up, but i think it's probably the most painful break i've had, mostly cos i can't rest it, and even with the strapping it still moves. everything else is as ok as normal, i guess it could have been worse.

can still hammer nails in, just maybe dragging pallets up hills might be a problem, but darling son coming home tonight, so he can carry some up for me.

thanks for all the sympathy .... i feel much better now
