    catch up

    Hi everyone really missed getting on here, my computer died so had to be off line for yonks just about got back on my feet and been working hard trying to get my allotment working not done really well with my veg just about had a few good crops but did really well with the weeds!! lol got loads of them spent most of my spare time pulling them out in between the rain showers.
    Will try again next year fingers crossed.
    Hope everyone is well and will look forward to catching back up with everyone xxxxx

      Welcome back you!! Any plans for overwintering crops, or are you going to wait for spring now?

          Oh Good!

          You don't know how relieved I am to hear that I'm not alone in going 'cold turkey' if my PC's down. Batteries went flat in my mouse last week (took me a day to figure it out) but it felt like someone had chopped off my right hand! Had to go straight on to eBay for a shopping trip when I'd fixed it (sad cow!)

              Glad to be back really missed everyone, my allotment is getting on top of me with all the rain we got and it always rained on my days off so when we did get some dry days I just sent them pulling out weeds.
              I did get some crop but not much some carrots- potatoes- cabbages and peas.
              I did better in my garden plot beetroot, sweet corn and loads of salad crops & herbs so didn’t do too badly for my first year. In the greenhouse my tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers & chillies did really well
              I think I’m going to give the allotment a rest now till spring and grow some winter veg in my garden plot, leeks and carrots, sprouts and do some potatoes in bags in the greenhouse.
              yep I felt lost without my computer it did feel like I had my whole world taken away from me, (billy no mates ) lol !! But not to worry things happen and I’m back now with my new laptop so I can use it in or out doors up or down stairs it’s brilliant now.
