  • Some advice on achieving inner peace

I am passing this on to you because it definitely worked for me and we all could use more calm in our lives. By following the simple advice I heard on a Medical TV show, I have finally found inner peace. A Doctor proclaimed the way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started. So I looked around my house to see things I'd started and hadn't finished, and, before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of shhardonay, a bodle of Baileys, a butle of vocka, a pockage of Prunglies, tha mainder of bot Prozic and Valum scriptins, the res of the Chesescke an a box a choclits. Yu haf no idr who fkin gud I fel. Peas sen dis orn to dem yu fee AR in ned ov inr pis

That made me laugh so much, Sluglobber! But I believe the essence is true, you do feel more contented when you've done all you set out to do.
    Then finish the booze!!!

Love it. But I'll have to settle for the chocolate digestives, crunchie bar, crunchie nuggets, chocolate marzipan bars (Thorntons), and two packets of plain chocolate for now.

Got half a bar of chilli chocolate fudge in the fridge; and 3/4 bottle of pimms here...what a top idea.

I love it!! Now, to the cupboard for the open packet of dark chocolate digestives, half a loaf that could be toasted and topped with the open jar of peanut butter, 3 open multipacks of crisps.....

                      I'm loving this idea already.

SlugLobber - becuase you suggested the idea, does it mean I don't get the calories? Ab it like there are no calories when you eat chips off someone else's plate?

Exshellent advoice Poppet! Want something finishshed? Ashk a bizzy persun..... and knowing now that we should finish what we started to achieve inner peace......

I like you already, or you'd be 'Slug, shall I lob it or not?'

I'd be 'Wellie, should I give it some, or shan't I...?'

Trousers would be 'Trousers, should I pull them up, or pull them down?'

.... and I'm not sure HOW we'd all achieve inner peace or cope otherwise. Great Giggle - keep it up!

I'm finding that there is more to this therapy than meets the eye - ordering in the key.

For example, I have an unfinished In Tray, unfinished College Homework, and an unfinished bottle of Shiraz.

Finishing these itmes at random, I've fiinished the sshriz, and an lokking at he collgwrkl, but dnt see the ni rtay anyhmr.....
