  • Rush home from school

    When you were at school did you you ever rush home to watch a TV programme.
    I use to rush home to watch Scooby Doo,The Monkeys and the Herbs!
    The greatness comes not when things go always good for you,but the greatness comes when you are really tested,when you take,some knocks,some disappointments;because only if youv'e been in the deepest valley can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain.

    I can remember always watching Noggin the Nog, Ivor the Engine and Captain Pugwash. I recently bought a DVD of every episode of Mr Ben, brilliant

                    Oooh I loved Pipkins too!!~altough there was a character I used to be really scared of!Can't remember which one though.Also loved Rupert~but not when "Raggety" was in it as he scared me too!!Fingerbobs used to be on when I got home from playgroup & I can still remember sitting watching it with my steak & kidney lunch in my little bunny bowl(craftily hiding the kidney so my mum thought i'd eaten it!!)& the Banana splits.(which Andi's just informed me he was watching on you tube the other night!!)
                    Although I've not watched it for many years was quite upset to read that the final ever Grange Hill was aired recently!T'was quite looking forward to watching it with the kiddies once they were old enough!

                      i loved Bagpuss, Mary, Mungo & Midge and of course Blue Peter, also Play School, can you remember humpty, Jermima, Hamble, Bug Ted, Little Ted and ............cant remember!!!!

                      Such great TV - ooo not forgetting The Hair Bear Bunch, Crystal Tips & Alistair, Rhubard & Custard, Top Cat and last but by no way least The Banana Splits - but they were saturdays i think!

                        Thanks - it was birthday 42 yesterday and you all showed me how old I now am I intent to pretend it didn't happen. Loved the clangers.....

                          Oh and bagpuss too (voted top in an adult best off on mtv) and the banana splits. Does anyone remember being shipped off to the local legion club on a saturday morning to watch a medlay of shorts then a main film - one of the shorts was always the double deckers

                            I used to hate using the outdoor school loos.......so I ALWAYS rushed home from school!!!!

                              School!? I would make a dash from work in the seventies to watch "The Magic Roundabout"
