  • Cat alert: Charlie

update on me lovely lad is that they don't know what is wrong with him - can't really expect them to at this stage I guess.

They have taken some bloods today and need to take more tomorrow. They will be looking for kidney or liver problems or .... brain tumour is an option it seems ....swear words swear words swear words

Poor lad has been given a brazilian around his neck where they took the bloods! He has to pee into a teaspoon of litter so that I can collect it....this will be fun I can see....

please keep things crossed for him even if you don't like cats

if it helps any, OH's cat was ill early this year, he went downhill really quick, and we thought he wouldn't make it through the night, he had total kidney failure.

he spent 4 days in hospital, on drips, and allsorts, came home on a special diet, and within 2 weeks was acting like a kitten again.

so fingers crossed that everything goes as well for charlie, and hugs for you too, i know how worried you must be

no pee in the litter tray - so they had to shove a cathatar (sp) thingy up his willie and he said 'f*** orf' ....then the little blighter only pee'd all over the nurse and vet didn't he and then followed up with a full set
                  *see piskie giggling up sleeve

Hopefully the results will be tomorrow

Got everything crossed for ya - luckily I don't need to pee.

Give him a little rub behind the ears that our cats used to like - the little lumpy bit just at the bottom of the back of the ear, you know.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow - I'm sure it will be something "simple" and only needs a week of tablets. Hope he is feeling OK at the moment if a little bit put out with all the indignification he has had to suffer poor little mite.
Holding breath for you 'till tomorrow.
