A mum did herself a major injury last year at our schools sports day(I think torn ligaments?),Got us all out of it this year!!

what I don't get is they stop mums&dads yet seem to not care about the children!!?
However we've got a "parents participation required"sports thing tomorrow(inside~so no getting out of it!)

I sloped off to a garden centre a few yards from where I work yesterday lunchtime. I wanted 3 things: a) a cheap lightweight hooded top to keep the rain off whilst I work outside; b) nematodes; c) fennel seeds.
        a) They had some lovely waterproof coats but you would only wear them to work on the lottie or in the garden if you were rich enough to pay someone else to do the hard graft. (Thinks! Might go back and buy one for shopping in - I really liked the pink one )
        b) no nematodes
        c) virtually no veggie seeds at all - lots of flower seeds.

Basically the indoor part was full of books, cards, gifts etc. Only a small portion was given over to horticulture.
