    Pleeeease send me some 'sunny' vibes for Sunday

    Well I am competely bonkers. It's official. I am having 2 childrens parties at my house on Sunday one after the other.

    And the forecast is not good so far.

    Aaaarghhhhhh.

    Am having 20 3/4 yr olds (plus mums) from 11-1 for my son's b-day. We have bouncy castle and lots of OUTDOOR games planned. Then when they all bugger off I am having my baby's family party party from 1.30. With the bouncy castle still up and lots of drinking in the garden planned....

    I am seriously going to leave the country and leave them all to it if the weather does what it's doing now.

    So please send me some sunny thoughts for the weekend. Or some vodka.

    Vodka with lemons on way in the hopes that sunshine will be restored (lemoncello went down very well on the one fine afternoon we had here!!).

    How about a sun dance in the back garden on Saturday??!!

      Whats the forcast for sunday in your area ? do you have alternitive plans ? my grandsons family party last sunday was a washout kids sat on kitchen floor to eat, games downstairs in front room, it was like musical rooms kids in one parents in the other then swap great fun

        I do have an alternative - move all the furniture upstairs and play in the lounge and play-room! And get drunk.

        Have just moved a lot of the big toys into the playhouse at the bottom of the garden (kitchen, workbench etc) so really hope I don't have to move them all back indoors! Was hoping to open the sandpit, get the easel out, fill the paddling pool, get some play-doh out, etc and let them all get on with it.

        Have also got mum's gazebo coming for a bit of shelter. I have 'stick the nose on the clown', 'hunt the sweeties in the jelly', 'apple bobbing' and 'donut limbo' planned too and I am not doing them inside! They will have to get the wellies and macs on and trudge out to the gazebo to have a go, lol!

        janeyo - need wine already - may have to sample some later.....

        ps forecase for here nearest obs is about 15 miles is showers for sunday.
