    Time

    A colleague just said to me 'I don't know where the time goes' - funny expression isn't it cos it doesn't actually GO anywhere - it is always with us...

    You've just reminded me of my father who died over 30 years ago

          Yeah time flies as they say.
          Seems to me the older you get the quicker it gets.
          It seems like only yesterday my children were born,now they are having kids of their own!!
          The greatness comes not when things go always good for you,but the greatness comes when you are really tested,when you take,some knocks,some disappointments;because only if youv'e been in the deepest valley can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain.

            A lot of things change as you get older.

            When I was a teenager, I knew everything, now I'm in my late fifties, I realise I know bugger all
            I am certain that the day my boat comes in, I'll be at the airport.

              time doesn't move faster at all - time is time is time ....
              .....remember how when you travel to a place for the first time - it is always quicker coming back? Well, this is the same

                  unfortunately, time waits for no one! once i was 18 and now i am 40! mind you, life begins and i dont feel old at all, just look it!!

                    I like to pick on those that winge.

                    I'm bored - only boring people get bored.

                    I'm tired - go to bed earlier then!

                    There's not enough time - time waits for no man, so pull your finger out of your a**e and do some work.

                    In life there are those that get on and do and those that think and don't, I aspire to be the former.

                    (sorry squashysu, I'm not having a dig at you, so please don't think I am, I've only just noticed I referenced your quote)

                        the busier you are the faster time "seems" to fly,the more idle you are & time drags;but at the end of the day/week/month/year we all get there in the same time;I'd rather feel like I got there a bit quicker & had a full life to look back on.(MG Piskie you're turning us all deep!!)
