Just remember not to leave the weeds laying on the ground

Yes, weeding can be done, but its no good for digging or rotorvating in torrential rain, ruins the soil structure! Thats whats been so annoying here today, up early and ready to go, got to the plot and heavens opened! Ah well, at least the toms have now been sideshooted, fed and greenhouses weeded! Hope the weather improves for my day off this week!

Whereabouts are you - you can add your location to your profile to stop us having to ask every time you post. We had a bit of drizzle early on, but I managed to get to the lottie, and also to do some clearing up in the back garden.

A colleague of mine only weeds in the rain, she says it means she can spend the sunny days sat in the garden looking at the fruits of her labour!
Bet you can tell that we live in Scotland where the wet days outnumber the sunny ones!!!

it has tanked it down where we are, I just wish I had a water butt to collect the rainwater. Off to shops tomorrow to have a look for one.

Don't know if this is any good to you but Wilko's are selling 210 litre water butts for under £15.00. I paid £24.00 from Tesco direct earlier in the year.
